Dozens of wildfires tore through central Chile. The fires have destroyed dozens of homes due to a strong heat wave. Local media reported that over 2,600 hectares (6,400 acres) have been burned. Firefighters have put out most of the blaze, but are working to contain at least 10 fires as of Friday afternoon.
