The Orlando Magic snapped a 13-game losing streak to Charlotte, routing the Charlotte Hornets 127-89 on Thursday night behind 21 points from reserve Terrence Ross.
"It's like there has been a paradigm shift, if that makes sense," Magic forward Aaron Gordon said. "They've been whipping us for so long, but I'm glad we got 'em this time."

The Magic have won five straight games for the first time in more than three years. Nikola Vucevic had his fifth straight double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Gordon added 10 points and 10 rebounds. Jonathan Isaac scored 16 points.

Knicks snap 18-game skid with win over Hawks

Dennis Smith Jr. scored 19 points for New York Knicks which snapped a franchise-worst, 18-game losing streak with a 106-91 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Thursday night.
The Knicks ended their longest skid within a single season with their first victory since January 4 at the Los Angeles Lakers. New York, with the Eastern Conference's worst record and second-worst overall, had dropped 26 of 27.

"I think we did a great job of guarding the pick-and-rolls tonight," Smith said. "Our bigs did a good job of calling out the screens and switching and not giving them too many second chances."
The Hawks, coming off an exciting victory over the Lakers two nights earlier, were flat throughout. They never pulled within single digits after John Collins' hook shot made it 87-78.

Pelicans lose Davis, beat Thunder 131-122

Anthony Davis grimaced and didn't move his left arm as he walked off the court at halftime.
Whether those were Davis' final moments in a Pelicans uniform — or whether he even plays in this weekend's All-Star Game — remains to be seen.

Julius Randle capped a 33-point, 11-rebound performance with three clutch baskets in the final three minutes, Jrue Holiday scored 32 points and effectively defended Paul George, and New Orleans beat Oklahoma City 131-122 on Thursday night despite losing Davis to a shoulder injury.
