In a redundant affair between the two eliminated sides from the group, Jose Luis Rodriguez opens the scoring for Panama against Tunisia after 30 minutes in Saransk.
Fakhreddine Ben Youssef then scores the equalizer for the Tunisians on the stroke of halftime.
Before Wahbi Khazri completes the comeback for the second goal in the 60th minute, finishes with 2-1, the win marks the Eagles of Carthage's first at a World Cup since 1978, when they defeated Mexico 3-1.
It doesn't change the fact both are going home though. Belgium top the standings thanks to their win and actually enter the tougher half of the draw. If they get past Japan, France could await them in the last eight. England, if successful against Colombia, will play the winners of Sweden or Switzerland.
