China and Mongolia signed a cooperation plan to promote the alignment of the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) with Mongolia’s Development Road. Xi called for aligning the BRI with Development Road and the building of the China-Mongolia-Russia economic corridor. Battulga said Mongolia firmly adheres to the one-China principle and will enhance the synergy between the Development Road program and the BRI.
