Joint Sea 2019: Chinese, Russian marines hold land competitions

Chinese and Russian Navy marines have conducted land exercises in the eastern Chinese city of Qingdao.

Over 50 marines from both sides participated in the shooting contests and a 400-meter steeplechase.

Both navies sent their elite soldiers to compete in the first program of the "Joint Sea 2019" exercises on Tuesday.

After rounds of contests, the Chinese soldiers won the first prize.

The competitions are part of the "Joint Sea 2019" exercises held from April 29 to May 4.
