Scorching summer temperatures have killed about 30,000 kilograms of fish in the Huanzidong reservoir in Shenyang City, northeast China’s Liaoning Province. The person in charge of the reservoir said that due to direct sunlight, the reservoir's water temperature rose to about 40 degrees Celsius. The fish cannot withstand temperatures above 38 degrees Celsius.
