The NBA on Tuesday announced the list for 2019 All-Rookie Teams. Luka Doncic from the Dallas Mavericks, Trae Young from the Atlanta Hawks, Deandre Ayton from the Phoenix Suns, Jaren Jackson Jr. from the Memphis Grizzlies and Marvin Bagley III from the Sacramento Kings made the First Team.
Ayton, Bagley, Doncic, Jackson and Young are No.1, No.2, No.3, No.4 and No.5 selects respectively in the 2018 NBA Draft, making it the first time for all the top 5 picks to be chosen into the All-Rookie First Team since the 1984-85 season. Back then the five First Team young men were Hakeem Olajuwon (No.1), Sam Bowie (No.2), Michael Jordan (No.3), Sam Perkins (No.4) and Charles Barkley (No.5).

Both Doncic and Young received 100 First Team votes and they are the two biggest, if not the only candidates for the 2019 Rookie of the Year Award – Ayton is candidate, too but he really caused no challenge to either of them.
With 21.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, six assists on average, 24 double-doubles and eight triple-doubles, Doncic almost made the league announce he's Rookie of the Year in advance. However, Young caught up quickly in the second half of the season by dropping 19.1 points, 8.1 assists per game, 30 double-doubles and one triple-double.
We will find out who Rookie of the Year is at the 2019 NBA Awards on June 24.
The other three members of the First Team, Ayton, Bagley and Jackson, received 95, 56 and 60 First Team votes.
