The most recent news about the Obamas landing a Netflix film deal may make one wonder what have other senior officials done after their term in office, say, the former Fed chairs, arguably the most powerful jobs in the US government after the President.
What do they do after the Fed? The preceding records pointed to a couple of options: go back to academia, become an adviser, go into the private sector, remain in the public sector, or write a book.
Currently there are five living Federal Reserve chairs, including the current Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell and former chairs Janet Yellen, Ben Bernanke, Alan Greenspan and Paul Volcker.
