President Xi: DPRK, U.S. should build trust through dialogue
The international community should keep on promoting dialogue between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the United States, so as to build on mutual trust between the two sides and push for the settlement of the Korean Peninsula issue, said Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
China will play an active part in this process, as President Xi has stressed, to safeguard the peace and stability of the peninsula.
President Xi has concluded his three-day state visit to Russia. The visit comes as the two countries celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties.
