Kim Jong Un, the leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), will soon make an official visit to Vietnam, Vietnam News Agency reported Saturday.
The visit by Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, will be made at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and State President Nguyen Phu Trong, the ministry announced on its website.
"Kim Jong Un will pay an official visit to Vietnam in the coming days," Vietnam's foreign ministry announced on its Facebook page Saturday.
Kim and U.S. President Donald Trump will meet from February 27-28, the second summit between the two leaders aimed at denuclearizing the Korean Peninsula.
