China's four-time Olympic gold medalist in short track speed skating, Wang Meng, will train a batch of budding skaters. The 33-year-old is taking up the challenge to prepare the skaters for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics where, as host nation, China will be hoping for a better performance than in PyeongChang, where they managed to bag just one gold medal.
In February's PyeongChang Olympics, China's only gold came in short track thanks to a world record performance in the men's 500 meters by Wu Dajing.

The team will be comprised of 60 skaters – 20 female, and 40 male. Wang won her first Olympic gold in Turin in 2006 in the 500 meters and also picked up silver in the 1000-meter event. Four years later in Vancouver, the Heilongjiang native clinched gold medals in both those events and also topped the podium with the 3000-meter relay team. Her incredible Olympic success and her 18 wins at the World Championships have already made her one of the most decorated athletes in her sport.
