In response to the attendance of a US official at a dedication ceremony for a new complex at the American Institute for Taiwan, Ma Xiaoguang, spokesman for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, responded on Tuesday reiterating that China opposes official exchange or contact between the US and Taiwan.
