Brian Linden from the U.S. has traveled around over 100 countries. Since his first visit to China in 1984, he's been to most of the country's provinces. China's appeal as a tourism destination has grown in the past 40 years and in Linden's eyes, it is almost a miracle. He and his wife were amazed by China's economic development and inspired by the country's culture so much so that they've decided to settle down in the southwestern city of Dali and open a hotel with a cultural twist.
