There has been some apparent bad news for Dalian Yifang after Napoli called off the sale of Marek Hamsik.
The Serie A club revealed the Slovakian won't be moving to the Chinese Super League just yet, because of what they called problems with the agreed payment methods.
Dalian is reportedly the club in the hunt for the forward, but this has never been confirmed.
The deal was reportedly worth 18 million euros plus a further two million in add-ons, and with the 31-year-old set to earn nine million euros per year.
Yifang apparently wants to take the striker on loan with an option to buy, but Napoli is said to only accept a permanent sale with a one-off payment.
The Chinese side also wants to pay the agreed 20 million euros in installments, which the Serie A club's owner has refused to accept, according to reports.
Hamsik has made over 520 appearances for the Donkeys and found the net 121 times, overtaking Diego Maradona as their record goal scorer.
