The Premier League on Thursday announced the broadcast and commercial revenues that were paid to the clubs for the 2018-19 season. Nineteen of them received over 100 million pounds (about 126 million U.S. dollars).
Liverpool topped the list with 152 million pounds (about 192 million U.S. dollars).
Man City were second on the list with nearly 151 million pounds (about 191 million U.S. dollars). Though their bonus of winning the Premier League championship was 38.4 million pounds (about 48.6 million U.S. dollars), two million higher than the bonus of Liverpool, it wasn't enough for Man City to beat Liverpool.

The other four clubs of the traditional "Big 6" were No.3 Chelsea with 146 million pounds (about 184 million U.S. dollars), No.4 Tottenham Hotspur with 145 million, No.5 Manchester United with 143 million and No.6 Arsenal with 142 million.
Huddersfield Town received the least 96.6 million pounds (about 109.7 million U.S. dollars). They were also the only Premier League club that earned fewer than 100 million pounds.
With better business development than all other four major soccer leagues in Europe (La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1), Premier League has great economic influence in Britain. According to Tencent Sports, it paid over 3.3 billion pounds (about 4.2 billion U.S. dollars) of taxes in the 2016-17 season while creating almost 100,000 jobs.
