Greek artist Virginia Axioti's work is seen by thousands of people every week, but none of it is digital. Axioti spends three to four days at a time to complete a poster and produces between 20 and 25 each year. Her latest work was for the Greek opening night of "Avengers: Endgame" from Disney's Marvel Studios. The artist continues with the tradition of hand-painted billboards which was introduced in 1960 at the 970-seat cinema founded by Axioti's grandfather and great-uncle.
