An illuminated Palace Museum came into the spotlight when it was opened for night visitors for the first time in its 94-year history to celebrate Lantern Festival. Curator Shan Jixiang said in an interview that the authorities are trying to bring cultural heritage alive in a more down-to-earth and friendly way.
