China wins first diving gold medal in women's synchronized 10m platform event at 18th Asian Games

Reigning World Cup winners Zhang Jiaqi and Zhang Minjie brought China its first diving victory as they romped to win the women's synchronized 10m platform event at Asian Games on Tuesday night.
The 14-year-old Chinese pair, who claimed victory in the FINA World Cup last June, led from the first dive to the last and scored a total of 361.38 points.
Kim Kuk Hyang and Kim Mi Rae of the DPRK took the silver medal in 337.86 and Leong Mun Yee and Nur Dhabitah Sabri of Malaysia came to third at 310.80.
