February is one of the darkest months of the year in Denmark and the annual 24-day light festival in the capital city of Copenhagen aims to brighten the mood. The light festival features 40 installations, one of which is a recreation of the famous Northern lights, made at a size of over 80,000 square meters. The festival will last throughout February and is free for the public.
