27 passengers feared dead in bus blaze in India

At least 27 people were feared dead after a bus overturned and caught fire on Thursday in Bihar in eastern India, the Times of India reported.

The bus caught fire shortly after it went off the road and turned over while traveling from Muzaffarpur to New Delhi.

There were 32 passengers on board, mostly from Muzaffarpur, according to the report.

Heavy rain was hampering rescue work at the accident site.
