China's research icebreaker Xuelong arrived at New Zealand’s Christchurch on Saturday morning to replenish supplies on China's 35th Antarctic expedition. This is the second phase of supply delivery it conducts after it left Zhongshan station, China's research station in the Antarctic, two weeks ago. In its two-day call at the New Zealand's port, Xuelong, or Snow Dragon, will load about 1,250 tons of fuels and about 1,000 tons of fresh water, vegetables and other food items.
