Chinese President Xi Jinping announced the opening of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge on Tuesday during a launch ceremony in Zhuhai City, south China's Guangdong Province. After the ceremony, Xi inspected the bridge and extended his appreciation and regards, on behalf of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, to the designers, builders, engineers and maintenance staff of the bridge.
