SCO member countries to hold fifth military music festival

The opening ceremony for “Peace Horn－2018”, the fifth military music festival of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states, and also a military music evening party, is set to kick off at Juyong Pass in Beijing on the night of April 24, 2018.
The military music parade and the second performance are expected to take place on April 25 in the Bird's Nest and Juyong Pass, Beijing respectively.
This military music festival is sponsored by the Ministry of National Defense of the People's Republic of China.

With professional and rich performances, the show presents a military atmosphere and a music symphony, which makes the “Peace Horn” military band festival an important part of deepening and expanding the defense cooperation of the SCO and an enhancement of the military cultural exchanges between member states.
The 5th "Peace Horn" SCO Military Band Festival was held in Beijing and will be the prelude to SCO's new forms of defense and security cooperation. It will create ad write a new chapter for the armed forces of all countries, and inspire them to unite and work together in creating a better future
The SCO has eight full members: China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, and India.
