Teams of Premier League have earned about 817 million US dollars from jersey sponsorships in the 2018-19 season, an increase of 42 percent, reported Daily Mail on Saturday.
This number is the total income from sponsor money with shirts, sleeves and kit deals with manufacturers.

As the soccer league with the world's best business operation, Premier League has been leading in making TV money and is also doing great in generating income with shirts. In the 2015-16 season, the total amount from this type of sponsorship was 574 million US dollars and reached 817 million in three years.
During the same period, the average price of jerseys of Premier League teams witnessed a rise from 64.84 dollars to 68.31, or about five percent.

Among all 20 teams of the league, Manchester United are taking one of the biggest shares of 98.3 million dollars thanks to their kit deal with Adidas while Chevrolet has made itself the biggest sponsor by paying 61.6 million dollars a year to the teams.
Compared with advertisement on the chest of jerseys, sleeve deals are relatively new. Man U, Arsenal and Chelsea earn 13.1 million dollars every ear by printing sponsor names or logos on their sleeves while Manchester City and Liverpool make more than 6.5 million.
