After spending over half a year in the International Space Station, three astronauts as part of "Expedition 57" have finally returned to Earth. The spacecraft, carrying NASA Flight Engineer Serena Aunon-Chancellor, the Expedition's commander Alexander Gerst and Russia's Sergey Prokopyev, landed near the remote town of Dzhezkazgan in Kazakhstan on Thursday. They completed a mission circling the globe over three thousand times, conducting science and maintenance aboard the space station.
