The year 2018 marks the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening-up. On CGTN America's special panel discussion, "40 Years and Beyond, China's Reform and Opening-Up", Robert Hormats, Vice Chairman of Kissinger Associates, former U.S. under secretary of state, looked back his days working in China in the 1970s when China had no trade and investment. And it was Deng Xiaoping who understood that China could not continue the way it was and start to cross the uncharted river.
