West Indies batsman Shai Hope hammered 146 off 144 balls to power his side to an emphatic series-leveling victory against Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.
The brilliant century helped the Caribbean side clinch a four wickets win in the second match of the three-match one-day international series.
Hope was ably supported by Keemo Paul, who chipped in with an unbeaten innings of 18 after coming to the crease at 185 for 6 in the 39th over.

The pair built an unbeaten partnership of 71 runs to take the visitors home in the final over. 
Earlier, put into bat first, the hosts made 255 for 7 in their stipulated 50 overs with three of their most experienced batsmen – Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan – hitting a half-century each. Shakib top-scored for the home side with 65 off 62 balls. For West Indies, paceman Oshane Thomas bagged three wickets.

In reply, Hope spearheaded the chase and notched up his maiden ODI century with 12 fours and three sixes. Needing 22 runs off the last two overs, Hope hit Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman for three boundaries before Paul accomplished the winning runs with two balls to spare in the last over.
Bangladesh had won the opening match of the series by five wickets on Sunday while the third and final match will be held in Sylhet on Friday.
