Some consider Washington's crackdown on Chinese tech giant Huawei as destroying global supply and value chains, and even as a form of government intervention in the marketplace. Professor Liu Qingbin, director of the Beijing Center at Japan's Yokohama National University, shared with us what Huawei can do to tackle these issues and what pressures could China's domestic economy face amid the protracted China-U.S. trade friction.
