Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on Monday visited a command center of the rescue operation for the tour boats that capsized in a storm of the coast of Phuket last Thursday.
The prime minister said at a press conference that he would visit the injured tourists and families of the victims at local hospital.
Thai government will work together with China to deal with the current issue, Prayuth said.
As of Monday morning, the tragedy has claimed 42 lives, among which 37 bodies had been identified. So far six passengers remain unaccounted for.
