If China and the United States could work together in the process of globalization, it would yield a win-win outcome and benefit all the countries. Chinese Ambassador to the U.S., Cui Tiankai, made the remarks in an exclusive interview with CGTN on Saturday.

In response to the perception that China has benefited much more than the U.S. in globalization on the perspective of per capita GDP growth, Cui said when coming to the benefits of globalization, only focusing on the per-capital GDP is a rather narrow view, adding that the U.S. still enjoys a higher per-capita GDP compared to China.

He expressed that all the countries have similar needs, and all countries need to make economic and social constructions.

Cui also noted China is determined to follow a path of peaceful development, and China is determined to continue to reform and open up.
