Rafael Nadal continued to make history at the French Open. The world number one demolished Juan Martin del Potro 6-4, 6-1, 6-2 to reach the final at Roland Garros for a record-extending 11th time.
That runs the Spaniard's all-time mark in the City of Lights to 85 wins and just two defeats. He also withdrew because of injury two years ago, but has never lost in the title match in Paris, going 10-for-10 so far.
Delpo looked to cut into Rafa's early lead. The King of Clay moved forward, but his backhand found the net, and the Argentine soon leveled at 3-3.
After Nadal reclaimed the edge, Delpo tried to get things back on even terms, but the 16-time Grand Slam champ's backhand eluded him, and Nadal took the first set 6-4.

The man from Spain jumped out to a quick 4-0 advantage in the second, and flicked off Delpo's best efforts with a forehand down the line, en route to claiming the frame 6-1.
The Argentine hoped serving first in the third would help change the momentum, but Nadal continued to dominate with a forehand down the other line.
At the match point, Delpo's long return handed the set to Nadal 6-2, as the 10-time champ swept this semi-final in straight sets, and reached his 11th title match at the French Open.
That ties the overall Grand Slam record his old rival Roger Federer holds at Wimbledon. But while the Swiss Express has eight wins and three losses in London finals, Nadal is looking to go 11-for-11 at Roland Garros.
