Since July 2018, the demolition of "illegal villas in Qinling Mountains" in northwest China's Shaanxi Province has received more and more attention. A total of 1,194 illegal buildings on the northern hill of Qinling, which are under the administration of Xi'an, have been listed as targets for investigation and remediation.
