"China: World of Wonders" is a new Virtual Reality series focusing on 10 tourist destinations in the country. It was released as part of CGTN's coverage of the Two Sessions, one of China's most important annual political meetings currently underway in Beijing.

In this episode, we kick off our journey to Yangzhou City in east China's Jiangsu Province. Due to its tremendous beauty, Yangzhou is definitely one of China's top tourist destinations.

Yangzhou is noted for its waterways, including the Yangtze River, Jinghang Canal and Baoshe River. With a history of over 2,000 years, the city also boasts numerous culture assets. Famous attractions include Slender West Lake, Dongguan Street and Wenchang Pavilion.
