The Indonesia Asian Para Games Organizing Committee (INAPGOC) has confirmed all its sports venues are entirely ready to host the upcoming 2018 Asian Para Games, an INAPGOC official said on Thursday.
"All of the Asian Para Games venues are ready, as most of them were used in the recent Asian Games," INAPGOC Sports Division Director Fanny Riawan told a press conference.
He added that INAPGOC has prepared 19 locations to accommodate athletes competing in the Asian Para Games from October 6 to 13 in the capital Jakarta.
Eight venues are located in Indonesia's landmark Gelora Bung Karno sports complex in South Jakarta, which will host basketball, shooting, tennis, swimming, archery and hockey, among other sports.
The other 11 venues are located in various sports halls across East, Central and North Jakarta municipalities, which will play host to cycling, bowling, and table tennis.
The countdown begins on the 2018 Asian Para Games official website.

Riawan acknowledged that some minor projects are currently underway in order to accommodate disabled athletes and fans, and are expected to be completed on September 30.
The 2018 Asian Para Games will be the third iteration of the tournament, after the editions held in China's Guangzhou and South Korea's Incheon in 2010 and 2014 respectively.
Themed "The Inspiring Spirit and Energy of Asia," the upcoming Games will feature 18 sports, with participation from over 2,800 disabled athletes from 42 Asian countries and regions.
