At least 15 people were killed and 15 others were wounded in a militant attack after multiple explosions rocked eastern Afghanistan city of Jalalabad on Tuesday, according to Attaullah Khogyani, spokesman for the governor of Nangarhar Province.

The attack started with a car bomb explosion which followed by gunmen storming the migrant and refugees compound, ending after more than six hours.

All attackers have been killed and there was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
