It’s reported that the Musée du Louvre, one of the most famous museums in Paris, has begun to organize a special tour called “Jay-Z and Beyonce at the Louvre” in response to the positive reviews of the six-minute music video, which was filmed by the famous rap and R&B couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
The 1.5 hour-length special tour would guide you through the exploration of several artworks featured in the Apesh*t music video, which includes Marie-Guillemine Benoist’s Portrait d’une négresse (1800), Jacques Louis David’s The Coronation of Napoleon (1806-07), and Théodore Géricault’s The Charging Chasseur (1812) and The Raft of the Medusa (1818-1819).

For now, this self-guided tour is said to be only offered in French to primarily target locals. However, more languages will be added to the tour in due course.
This is not the first time that a global superstar has planned a tour dedicated to them in Louvre. It is expected that more such tours will follow.
Meanwhile, visitors can also see other famous works in the museum such as the Greek Venus de Milo statue and the Winged Victory of Samothrace sculpture.
