Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas was admitted to the hospital in the West Bank on Sunday, Reuters reported citing an official.

This was the third time that the president has been taken to the hospital in less than a week. He underwent minor ear surgery on Tuesday and was released a few hours later and hospitalized briefly again on Friday.
