Hot-and-sour rice noodles are deeply rooted in daily lives of people in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Among all its rice noodle varieties, the brand Laoyou, meaning "old friend" in Chinese, is the most famous in the capital city Nanning.
