Chinese football player Zhang Yuning's time in SV Werder Bremen is coming to an end, according to Germany's daily newspaper Bild. The team's Director of Sport Frank Baumann shared the opinion.
Zhang Yuning has not played in any game in the past 2017-18 campaign of Bundesliga. His team has already made contact with multiple teams in Europe, according to The Paper.
However, considering China may summon Zhang for international games of the country's men's football team from time to time, he may not be able to play a complete season for a club. "This indeed bothers us," said his father Zhang Quancheng to The Paper.

Zhang Quancheng has already talked to different teams of Jupiler Pro League, Eredivisie,
2. Bundesliga and Scottish Premiership in the past three months. Considering what happened with Werder Bremen, Zhang Quancheng has put how long his son can play in the filed into the negotiation terms. Some of the negotiations went deep enough as several teams were willing to promise certain amount of time for Zhang Yuning.
This was supposed to be good news. However, after Zhang Quancheng told the clubs that his son may need to return to China for the 2018 Jakarta Asian Games in late August and the AFC Asian Cup in January, 2019, the clubs found that difficult to accept because neither of the events takes place on FIFA International Match Calendar, meaning they will consume Zhang Yuning's time for the clubs.

Meanwhile, Zhang Yuning wants to play for China at the Asian Games and the Asian Cup. Joining a team in the Chinese Football Association Super League (CFL) should have solved the problem, but the 21-year-old young player wants to stay in Europe where he believes can make him a better player.
Moreover, as CFL enters the second half, most teams are at crucial stage to fight for champions, better rankings or not to relegate. They may not be willing to save precious spot for a new kid in the class.
So far no perfect solution has been found. Zhang Yuning is about to go to Chongqing to prepare for a game with China's U23 men's football team.
