Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif tweeted on Monday that Iran will not be threatened by "genocidal taunts." The statement was in response to a stern warning by U.S. President Donald Trump also in a tweet who suggested Iran would be destroyed if it attacked American interests. Zarif also called on Trump to address Iran with respect.
