Hani people, one of China’s 55 ethnic minorities mainly inhabiting southwest China’s Yunnan Province, celebrated their New Year on Sunday. Along with music and dancing, the Long Table Banquet is the highlight of the week-long festival. Tables are laid out on the street end-to-end, creating a grand view like a long dragon. Families compete to bring the most sumptuous dishes to the table.
