A militant attack on a government building in eastern Afghanistan on Wednesday has left at least 10 people dead and another 10 wounded, AFP reported, citing an official.
The blast and ensuing gunfire rocked a provincial education office in Jalalabad City, the capital of eastern Nangarhar province.
No group has immediately claimed responsibility for the violence.
Jalalabad has been the scene of numerous attacks recently as armed rebels have increased their activity in the region.
