The Gongqing Forest Park's annual forest flower exhibition opened on Saturday, featuring flower landscapes, bird watching and interactive activities.
Dozens of peach, cherry, and Chinese crabapple are in full bloom. There are about 1,200 Chinese crabapple trees of 10 varieties, 1,000 peach flower trees of 10 varieties, and about 400 trees of cherry blossoms at the park.

A fern garden is also featured in the flower show, together with 30 varieties of forest flowers such as blue glechoma, purple Chinese violet cress and yellow dandelion.
Visitors are invited to participate in the design of the fairy tale garden, observe birds at the park and take photos during the exhibition.
Tours guided by horticulturists will be organized, and flower classes will be arranged. Garbage sorting games will be conducted.

Shanghai Botanical Garden is presenting a sea of flowers from March 26 with the opening of the Shanghai International Flower Show
The theme flowers of the exhibition are amaryllis and ranunculus ascetics, both featuring large petals and brilliant colors. More than 80 varieties of amaryllis from home and abroad will be displayed in an artistic manner, together with 10 species of ranunculus ascetics.
Bilingual guide services will be provided during the show, which will run through May 5.
