The golden-yellow flowering plant with mistakable petals

In July, these charming plants are flowering in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Those golden-yellow parts are not the petals but the bracts of bupleurum aureum. The real petals are the tiny ones hidden inside. The plant is renowned for its medicinal value.
