Hurricane Michael became the most intense hurricane on record to strike the US Florida Panhandle on Wednesday. One of the hardest-hit spots in Florida was Mexico Beach. Entire blocks of homes were washed away, leaving nothing but concrete slabs in the sand. The rescue team found 20 survivors and more crews were pushing into the area, with the fate of many residents still unknown.
