Kabul blast kills four, wounds 90 including 23 children

Four people were killed and 90 others were injured, including 23 children, after a fatal explosion rocked Kabul, the capital city of Afghanistan on Monday evening, according to the country's interior ministry spokesperson Najib Danish.
"Four people including three military and one civilian were killed, and 90 injured including 23 children, 12 women and 65 men in the blast," Danish tweeted.

The deadly bombing occurred at around 7:00 p.m. local time when a suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near Green Village compound in Kabul where some foreign organizations are located.

Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesperson for Taliban, said in a statement that Taliban fighters were responsible for the attack.
