The Los Angeles Rams and the Kansas City Chiefs will go head-to-head in Los Angeles instead of Mexico City, where the game was originally planned, the NFL has announced.
Poor conditions inside the Estadio Azteca owing to heavy rainfall was one of the main reasons behind the change of plan. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, players even considered quitting if the league chose to hold the game in the Mexican capital.
As the Rams released information about ticket sales on their official website on Tuesday, the team also came up with a plan to offer free tickets for the game. The Rams will provide thousands of complimentary tickets to those who first responded to protect the Los Angeles community from the recent tragedies and help those affected.Previ

The past week was very difficult for LA. On November 7, a mass shooting at the Borderline Bar & Grill Thousand Oaks took 12 lives, including that of a police officer. The next day, the Woolsey Fire began to burn outside Los Angeles and claimed at least three deaths, nearly 400 square kilometers of land and hundreds of homes and businesses.
The Rams and the Chiefs currently rank No.1 in the National Football Conference (NFC) and the American Football Conference (AFC) respectively, with nine wins and one loss under each team's belt.
If the Rams win the game on home turf, it can be an even bigger comfort for local fans.
