Chinese police briefed the media on Monday on the latest developments regarding two people suspected of helping Guo Wengui, one of China's most wanted fugitives, to forge government documents.
At a press conference, police from the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau said the two suspects, Chen Zhiyu and Chen Zhiheng, had been detained.
Guo, the "actual controlling shareholder" of Beijing Pangu Investment and Henan Yuda Investment, is currently listed under an Interpol "red notice" for wanted fugitives.
