Soccer superstar Neymar returned home to Sao Paulo for the final of his Five tournament on Saturday, telling media he had learned from his stint at the World Cup and was still hopeful of eventually clinching the elusive trophy.
The 26-year-old Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) striker arrived in Russia hoping to guide Brazil to their sixth title and also as favorite to succeed Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as the best player in the world. Instead, he was ridiculed for his haircuts, diving and tears.
Neymar's Five tournament is a five-a-side soccer competition that brings young players from across the world to Brazil to represent their country in a tournament setting. Mexico clinched the trophy on the men's side while Brazil won the women's category.
Fellow Brazil international Dani Alves, who also plays his club at PSG in the French Ligue 1, also took part.

Neymar is now scheduled to return to PSG for his club duties, having quashed rumors that he will quit the French side for a Real Madrid move.
"I'm happy to be an idol, to be loved by many people,” he said. “I am very happy to be holding this tournament once again in the country, and can bring people from all over the world to know Brazil more and more."
