A Chinese contemporary brocade and embroidery art exhibition opened in Beijing on Tuesday. Over 200 pieces of delicate hand-weaving works collected from across the country are on display at the exhibition, which runs till October 7. The pieces of art, which showcases the nation's ancient silk artistry dating back thousands of years, were collected by 60 artists and heirs of China's national intangible cultural heritage.
